Thanksgiving week programming note

A quickie before things get rolling

Hello! Happy Thanksgiving week and/or FEAST WEEK and/or The Game Week. This is going to be a short post because this week is always a little troublesome schedule-wise for obvious reasons. So! Here’s how this week looks for yours truly.

• There will be no Week 4 Watchlist. This is mostly because it’s pretty annoying to just write Maui Invitational Semifinal or Maui Invitational Consolation Game #3 in the watchlist. If you want to see which games are good on a given day this week, I recommend following myself or Heat Check CBB because both of us will put out what we’re watching. Jamie Shaw at On3 is doing a good job of that too.

• There IS a preview of all the preseason tournaments. Perhaps you missed it, but this can help you figure out what’s when and all that.

• I’m still posting a lot of live-game thoughts at Trilly Donovan’s Discord. Just FYI! Most of your favorite characters from CBB Twitter in previous seasons can be found there, like the Three Man Weave guys, Jordan Majewski, and more.

• The only article planned for this week is one on VCU’s defense, probably out Wednesday. They’ve had a difficult but very intriguing start to the season and don’t look like a Ryan Odom team at all. In fact, they look like Mike Rhoades is still coaching them. Very interesting! We’ll be looking more deeply into that. Beyond this one post I think Thanksgiving week, particularly this one personally, is a good time for a quick break.
