And I hope even though you probably often feel as though you are shouting into the void, know that folks think your writing is smart, wry, and truly entertaining. Also, Tyreke Key is a problem. He was supposed to be a bucket. Like a guy who'd hit the critical bucket, not the guy who hit maybe a bucket a game.
The twitter thing strikes a nerve. Why do people have to be such jerks? Why does someone else being such a jerk cause me to be at least somewhat of a jerk? I really enjoy Twitter and I really hate it also. I have found I simply cannot be on there after Tennessee loses because the Vol Twitter attacking their own team steams me like nothing else. Even winning ugly brings out the Doomsday Vols.

Can we take comfort in that auburn game was just a bad shooting day. 2-21 from 3 and all of those attempts were from our best 3pt shooters (I’m not counting Phillips due to low volume). Until the end when we were just chucking cuz we had to, seemed we were getting decent looks.
Big fan Will and I appreciate your hard work. I'll just add one thing. It's odd that Tennessee's offense has struggled after getting perhaps their best offensive player back from injury. I think this coaching staff has struggled with it's rotations since James has returned. We need more production from Phillips and Key but their minutes played has dipped significantly in the last few weeks. Key only played 8 minutes against Auburn, it's hard to complain about his production if he's not playing.
These numbers are wild…I’ll take 1-1 from the second and seventh worst shooting performances of the last 20 years. But this also solidified my belief that it’s time for Julian Phillips to take over Olivier as the go-to guy when thing aren’t clicking for Santi and ZZ. Great write up, Will.

Whenever I feel like Vol fans are going overboard or losing their cool, I go read Rupp Rafters and it makes me feel just a little bit better.
